The Lord Nelson is a traditional Real Ale pub on the outskirts of Barnet. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, it is renowned for its friendly staff, good food and fine beer. It is a great place to relax and enjoy eating and drinking throughout the year. Spring is an especially delightful time to visit as we prepare for a traditional show of flowers in baskets to the front and pots covering our recently decorated patio to the rear. Our Young’s beer is amongst the best to be found in Barnet and our food is excellent offering extremely good value for money. The Lord Nelson is a stones throw away from a number of bus stops that serve High Barnet and beyond. We’re open all day so why not pop in and say Hi? We have a small telly for the occasional sporting event or news story and we have a selection of CDs for a little low level background music as a member of the PRS. Apart from that it’s just a pub – a great friendly pub where people can meet and chat and enjoy the best beer a food in Barnet. All of our food is cooked fresh on the premises. Our fabulous Sundays Roasts are renowned for quality and value for money. Our kitchen meets all the latest quality standards as laid down by the HSE. Traditional Sunday Lunches include Beef, Pork, Lamb and Gammon. Every Thursday from 8.30pm the pub holds a quiz night with all proceeds going to charity, with the winner of the accumulator choosing the charity.
