The Elm Tree is a beautiful and historic thatched pub on the village green at Hightown, Ringwood. A warm welcome awaits you with our comfortable restaurant and relaxed, friendly bar. We serve refreshing drinks ranging from our classic ales to now cocktails on tap, as well as a full food menu, catering for all allergies. On a warm summer’s day, our beer garden will be centre stage with live music and our loud locals!

We are the perfect location for a relaxed family dinner or friendly catch up, serving restaurant quality food without the premium prices. Of course, all the traditional pub classics are available on our menu, all made with locally sourced ingredients. Our Sunday carvery is always a busy time of the week for us, and often gets booked up a couple days prior, so always make sure you book in advance! Delicious Drinks
We have been awarded a Cask Marque for the excellent quality of our served beers – three Cask Ales and one Guest Ale. We also stock a good range of spirits including gins, all served with Fever Tree Tonics, whiskeys and rums. Alongside, we have a fine wines list with both reds and whites as well as cocktails on tap – espresso or passionfruit martinis are becoming newfound favourites of our locals. Finally, not forgetting the soft drinks or no alcohol beverages we serve – including a choice of quality Lavazza coffees and a great tea selection.
Functions at the Elm
We have two private function room options – perfect for all kinds of events including weddings, birthdays, christenings, funeral wakes, business meetings and conferences. Further details on these options are:
The Forest Room – an ideal meeting place for small meetings, conferences, clubs etc. This comes complete with a whiteboard and seating for a maximum of 25 people.
The Tithe Wedding Barn – Including a skittle alley and its own private bar (restrictions apply) this function room holds seated 60-70 people and up to 100 standing.
