The pub was built in 1931 for the Kemp Town Brewery and retains many striking features. The refurbished saloon bar on the right has an original counter, elegant cupola ceiling, a fine brick and stone Tudor-style fireplace. This is where our Sunday carvery takes place and is perfect for functions.
The pub’s middle snug was long ago combined with the left-side public bar at the point where the off-sales was situated. This now constitutes the main part of the pub where we have Pool tables, a dart board and two televisions for live sport.
We have 4 real ale pumps which are rotated regularly, as well as a selection of wine.
Our large beer garden has been recently made-over with a large climbing frame & Wendy house.
Our welcoming team are ready to great you with a smile, and soon “everyone will know your name” in the best pub in Lancing.
Steve and the team look forward to seeing you soon.
